The Fern Lodge

We eloped here this past week and couldn’t have been happier with everything. Wendy and Sasha are exceptional hosts and all around great people. They had everything coordinated and scheduled; photographer, officiant (thank you again Susan!), a locally made wedding cake. The breakfast every morning was amazing and since I have a sweet tooth, the baked good Sasha made fresh daily were always a hit for me. It was just an overall really great experience and definitely the highlight of our wedding road trip vacation. Our only regret is we started our trip here instead of ending it at Fern Lodge; everything else has fallen a little flat in comparison.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Fern Lodge! In spite of sub-zero temperatures, the cozy fire was warm and inviting in the main lodge. Lea and the housekeeper were always available and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious and so much food! And the hors d'oeuvres and wine by the fire (and beer and hors d’oeuvres by the pool table) were an elegant touch! We will definitely go back in the summertime to enjoy a different experience on the Lake!

Absolutely stunning location, and perfect place to cozy up in this winter! The atmosphere was peaceful, the rooms were luxurious and the owner/ staff were so warm and inviting. When you walk through the front door you truly feel like you are being welcomed home. Their hospitality is unmatched. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Our get-away to the Adirondacks was restful and refreshing, but staying at The Fern Lodge elevated the trip, making it both luxurious and cozy! Our room overlooking the lake was comfortable and graciously appointed.with everything we could have needed. (The steam shower in our room was glorious!) We looked forward to enjoying the delicious gourmet breakfasts delivered to our private balcony each morning. Wendy and Sasha were hospitable and eager to make our stay ideal. From the afternoon appetizers and boat ride to friendly conversation and area recommendations, we couldn’t have felt more at ease. In the evenings, making a fire for s’mores was easy and fun, as everything needed was at the ready. We couldn’t get over how many stars we could see from the dock at night - even getting to see meteor showers! The house is perfectly beautiful and roomy. Though there were other guests staying, we felt like we had plenty of privacy and loved the quiet, laid back elegance of our time at Fern Lodge.

We cannot rave enough about the Fern Lodge! We stayed here for our anniversary and the innkeeper and crew were so lovely, helpful, and made our experience that much better. The property itself is a haven for quiet contemplation, so many areas to find a seat to relax and enjoy nature. We had an early dip in the lake to boot! Super fabulous, would recommend to all in need of a restorative relaxing stay!

Had the absolute loveliest time staying here, it was incredibly cozy, the food was delicious, the care that went into everything was apparent at all times. My spouse and I eloped during our weekend at the lodge and Wendy was wonderful in arranging things with the cake and photographer, recommended a very tasty restaurant for our dinner, and even gave us a special gift on the last morning of our stay to commemorate. Highly highly recommend and we will absolutely be returning.

Never been to this region and when I found Fern Lodge online, decided it would provide the ultimate mountain getaway .. And boy, it did not disappoint! LOVED the Birch room and property. Wendy and Sasha were so helpful and accommodating ... not to mention the absolutely delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend if you want a truly immersive rustic mountain experience! The Fern Loge was an outstanding experience. The main spaces were beautiful and romantic. The bedroom was lovely and comfortable. The amenities, especially the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna were heavenly. Every part of our stay was perfect!
